The Jackson School District is hosting its third JR2 Bus Driver University to give interested parties a chance to learn more about being a bus driver.
According to a news release from the district, Jackson schools need bus drivers. In the past, the district has had "a few individuals" apply for a position after having the opportunity to test drive a bus.
The event will be led by Jackson Schools transportation director Carol Woods from 7 to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 20, at the Jackson High School Event Center parking lot. Participants interested in driving must be 21 or older.
