Jackson School Board president Terri Tomlin assumed her third consecutive term as board president Tuesday. The board reinstated members Gerald Adams and Dan Stover and elected officers during its regular
meeting.
Adams and Stover were up for re-election in the April 6 election but were uncontested. Tomlin, who is in her ninth year on the board, was elected president again during Tuesday's meeting.
"It's an easy job when you've got a good group to work with," she said.
Board member Cathy Goodman was also re-elected vice president.
Other business
In other business, the board heard from students and staff in agriculture, family and consumer sciences and business programs. The board approved program evaluations for each as required by the district's comprehensive school improvement plan, a state requirement.
