Several households already have placed items they wish to dispose of at the curbside weeks in advance of the annual Clean-Up and Fix-Up Week, scheduled for July 8 through 12, according to a news release issued by the Public Works Department. Solid waste meant to be disposed of should be put at curbside only during the week of the event. Residents who put out their items early could be issued a ticket by the police for violating public nuisance laws, the release said.
