Jackson Power and Light receives national recognition

Jackson Power and Light has been recognized as one of only 94 public power utilities to earn Reliable Public Power Provider recognition for providing consumers with a high degree of reliable and safe electrical service. Jackson Power and Light was chosen among 2,000 other public power utilities based on criteria including system management, outage response times and safety. "It means we're in the top 4 to 5 percent," said Don Schuette, director of electric utilities for Jackson Power and Light. "You don't get a whole lot better than that."
