The Indians built a 42-0 halftime lead en route to their fifth straight win in the series.

Jackson won the 101st meeting in the football series with Central, winning 56-13 on Thursday night at Houck Stadium.

Adam Zweigart scored three first-half touchdowns, and Cody Randen added two as Jackson took a 42-0 halftime lead.

Kevin Pridemore recovered two fumbles in Central territory in the first 90 seconds of the game, setting up a one-play, 6-yard drive and a two-play, 17-yard drive.

Cantrell Andrews scored two TDs for Central (1-5), which lost for the fifth time in the series but still leads 56-38 with seven ties.

Jackson, ranked among the state's top five teams in Class 5, improved to 6-0. The Indians will try for the sweep of the SEMO North Conference on Oct. 12 at home against Poplar Bluff.
