The Jackson Police Department took two juveniles into custody Friday afternoon in connection with the Thursday shooting of a house on the 100 block of Bast Street in Jackson, according to a department news release.
The release stated the police department detectives conducted several interviews, which led officers to a residence in Cape Girardeau.
Jackson and Cape Girardeau police officers took two male juveniles into custody for the shooting incident, the release stated.
A weapon was located and is believed to be the weapon used in the shooting Thursday, in which five bullets struck the house on Bast Street.
Also recovered was a gray Kia sport utility vehicle suspected to be the vehicle involved, the release stated.
The vehicle and weapon were seized and are being processed as evidence, according to the release.
