Jackson police are searching for a missing local woman.

Adrienne Kay Ptacek, 57, last was seen at 4:30 p.m. Friday at her home at 1515 Osage Trail in Jackson, according to Jackson Police Cpl. Rick Whitaker.

Jackson said Ptacek’s husband came home, and she was gone without leaving any type of note.

Ptacek’s family has been calling family members and friends in an attempt to find her, and there has been a family member stationed at Ptacek’s farmhouse in Cape Girardeau County, Whitaker said.

“We’re concerned for her safety,” Whitaker said.

She is believed to be driving a tan 2007 Chevrolet Malibu with a broken grill and cracked rear bumper. The car has Missouri plates, with a number AD2-F7W.

Anyone who has seen Ptacek or her vehicle is urged to call the Jackson Police Department at (573) 243-3151 or a local police department.
