More than 20 tire slashing incidents were reported Tuesday in several Jackson neighborhoods.

The Jackson Police Department is looking for information on the incidents, which caused thousands of dollars in damages, police spokesman Rodney Barnes said. Tires were reportedly slashed on Garrett Lane, Goodson Drive and Francis Drive, among other places, Barnes said.

No one was in custody Thursday morning.

Each incident is considered a felony offense, Barnes said.
