West Lane Elementary in Jackson and Perryville middle and senior high schools will receive bronze awards at the fifth annual Schoolwide Positive Behavior Support Summer Institute. Fredericktown Elementary, Southwest Elementary in Dexter and Central Middle School in New Madrid will also receive the bronze award from state officials.
The programs are aimed at improving student behavior and academic performance. In Perryville, students receive Buccaneer Bucks from teachers and administrators for good behavior.
