JACKSON - The Jackson Board of Education has rescheduled tonight's board meeting to later in the week.
The board will meet Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at the Jackson School District's administrative offices on South Oklahoma Street. It normally meets on the second and third Tuesdays of each month.
Business Manager Howard Alexander said the meeting was moved back two days to give the administrative staff time to prepare final details of the Jackson Middle School construction program that will be presented to the board on Thursday.
In order for the issue to be placed on the April 6 ballot, it must be submitted to the county clerk's office by Feb. 9.
