OZARK, Mo. -- A Jackson man charged with two counts of felony kidnapping and one count of violating an order of protection in southwest Missouri failed to appear for a court date earlier this month. According to the Christian County Circuit Clerk's office, Scott Pikey did not make a Jan. 7 hearing before Circuit Judge Mark Orr.

Pikey was arrested in July after allegedly kidnapping his children from a domestic violence shelter in the southwest Missouri town of Ozark. Police said Pikey also violated a protection order when he tracked down his ex-wife at the shelter by using the GPS-enabled sensor in her car.
