A Jackson man is in serious condition following a wreck on Route C early Monday.

Randy R. Lacy, 52, was rushed by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center after he veered off the left side of the road, two miles north of Pocahontas. He drove through a ditch and struck an embankment around 2:30 a.m. Monday, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

Saint Francis Medical Center did not release Lacy's condition late Monday afternoon, pending the family's approval of giving out the information.

Lacy was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol said.
