Trentis E. Miller, son of Bruce and Marsha Miller of Jackson, has been initiated into Beta Theta Pi by the chapter at Westminster College at Fulton where he is a student. Miller is a graduate of Jackson High School.
Beta Theta Pi, founded in 1839 at Miami University in Ohio, is dedicated to scholarship, brotherhood and community service.
The fraternity has more than 115,000 members, including some 7,000 collegians on 138 campuses in Canada and the United States.
The Westminster chapter was chartered in 1868. The fraternity also has chapters at the University of Missouri, Truman State, Washington University and University of Missouri-Kansas City.
