A Jackson man was sentenced to 120 months in prison Wednesday after a conviction of manufacturing methamphetamine.
With a previous guilty plea, Scott Talley, 41, admitted to being caught March 17 by a Missouri State Highway Patrol officer with two bags containing methamphetamine, pseudophedrine pills and about one and a half pounds of marijuana.
A subsequent search of Talley's residence revealed various items commonly associated with the manufacture of methamphetamine. He later admitted they belonged to him, and told his probation officer he'd manufactured about 7 grams of methamphetamine in his shed the week before he was arrested.
