Jackson man dies in fatal crash
A Jackson man was killed in a crash early Saturday morning on Highway 25. Jared Spencer Lane, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene about 6:30 a.m., said Cape Girardeau County Coroner John Clifton. Lane was driving south on Highway 25 when his car ran off the road and hit a tree near the Grandview Acres subdivision. He was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. A Jackson man was killed in a crash early Saturday morning on Highway 25.
Jared Spencer Lane, 22, was pronounced dead at the scene about 6:30 a.m., said Cape Girardeau County Coroner John Clifton.
Lane was driving south on Highway 25 when his car ran off the road and hit a tree near the Grandview Acres subdivision. He was not wearing a seat belt and was thrown from the vehicle. The reason for the crash remains unknown at this time, Clifton said.
