JACKSON -- The Jackson R-2 School District will conduct its annual kindergarten and first-grade enrollments Friday from 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Primary Annex, 221 rear South Oklahoma.
Joe Crain, director of elementary education, said parents of children who will be 5 years old before July 1, 1991, should enroll them for the 1991-91 school year.
Students who have not attended the Jackson kindergarten program and will be 6 years old before July 1, 1991, are to be enrolled for first grade. Crain said the first-grade enrollment is for anyone in the Jackson R-2 district and all enrollments will be at the Primary Annex.
