JACKSON HOMECOMERS WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The final winners of the talent show held during Jackson Homecomers were announced by Jim Nelson, talent show chairman and master of ceremonies of the show.

In the age 6-12 category Rebecca and Ryan Keller of Cape Girardeau received first place; Casie Janet of Cape Girardeau took home second place; Ryan Keller received third place and Ashley Lee and Sara Thomas of Barlow, Ky. received fourth place.

In the age 13-21 category Alisha Walther of Jackson won first; second place went to Kristen Swinford of Jackson; the third place winner was LaKrisha Jackson of Portageville, Bertrand and East Prairie.

Tom Sperling, Homecomers coordinator, announced the winners of the three Giant Prizes Saturday night. First prize, which was a Zenith 32-inch color TV went to Alice Thompson of Jackson. The second-place prize of a $500 gift certificate to Schapers IGA went to Joe Sutton of DeSoto. The third-place prize of 250 gallons of gas at Stogies Gas Co. went to Helen Laurentius of Jackson
