The Jackson Heritage Association will present "Faces in the Crowd," a photographic display, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. June 3 at the Oliver House in Jackson.

The photo display contains enlargements printed by Catherine Stoverink from the historic panoramic negatives received in a donation from Jackson Studio and Dewey Lukefahr.

The enlargements bring to light the diversity of the Jackson society almost 100 years ago.

The display shows that 1908 Homecomer's drew crowds of young, old, white, African-American, soldiers and merchants, all dressed in their finest and ready to enjoy the festivities.

Other negatives provide views of a cold and snowy morning on North High Street, Jackson football teams and the Jackson Military Academy.
