The programs are located at South Elementary and currently have a total of 74 special needs students, ages 3 to 5, enrolled.

This is the first year for the Title I preschool, which was possible due to an increase in federal funding.

The programs target children with learning disabilities and minor delays, concentrating on developing thinking, language, physical and social skills.
