JACKSON, Mo. -- Some 32 Jackson Chamber of Commerce members have signed up for a daylong Business Showcase next month.
The show will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. June 13 at the Jackson Jaycees Community Center on Highway 72, west of Jackson, across the highway from Pioneer Orchards.
"This event has attracted a lot of interest," said Ken Parrett, the chamber's executive director. "It will give businesses an opportunity to showcase their products or services."
Business can sign up for 10-foot-by-10-foot spaces inside the building or 20-foot-by-20-foot spaces outside.
Parrett said there is room for 32 booths inside and six outside, adding: "It's a great opportunity to show what you do in the community."
The showcase is free for exhibitors and patrons.
To date, three outside booths and two inside booths remain.
The Sylvan Learning Center has committed for one of the outside booths, and Parrett said there is a variety of businesses inside. Some are a bookkeeping service, manufacturers, building contractors, florists, financial institutions, bankers, and environmental consultants.
The Jaycees will operate food and beverage stands.
A raffle will be held at the end of the event.
