Accepted the dedication of general utility easement deeds from the Jackson Industrial Development Company.

Accepted the dedication of sanitary sewer easement deeds from Linda Watkins.

Amended Chapter 51, Article III, Division 1, Section 51-102 and 51-103 relating to the provision of leaves for city employees.

Changed the regular council meeting date from Monday, Jan. 20, 2003, to Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2003, at 7;30 p.m. due to Dr. Martin Luther King's birthday holiday.

Street Committee Approved the mayor's appointments to the Police Chief Search Committee.

Approved the voluntary annexation of 5.97 acres of property owned by Larry and Audrey Borgfield.

Authorized payment of $76,631.83 to Apex Paving Co. of Sikeston, Mo., relative to street improvements under the 2002 Asphalt Street Overlay Program.
