Action Items

Power and Light Committee Approved the semi-annual financial statement ending June 30.

Set a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, to consider the 2002 tax rates for parks & recreation, general revenue, cemetery and band.

Set a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 19, to consider the 2002 tax rate for the library.

Approved resolution stating intent to seek funding through Community Development Block Grant Program and to authorize the mayor to pursue activities in an attempt to secure funding.

Street Committee

Amended the Stop Street Schedule-Schedule VI by adding certain stop street designations for Traveler's Way.

Approved the final plat of Green Meadows Sixth Subdivision as submitted by John Lichtenegger of Appleton Valley Farm Inc.

Set a public hearing for 6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, to consider the rezoning of 3.8 acres of property located at 2370 N. High St. from R-1 (single family residential) to C-2 (general commercial) as submitted by Farris Nabors, Dale Nabors and Dwayne Nabors.
