Approved an ordinance calling for a general municipal election on April 2 to fill the offices of Board of Aldermen of the city of Jackson.
Accepted the dedication of a water line easement deed from Melbert E. and Jobyna A. Daume.
Authorized a contractual agreement with Koehler Engineering and Land Surveying Inc. of Cape Girardeau relative to providing engineering services for the design of the Hubble Creek Trunk Sewer Extension Project.
Approved Friday, Nov. 23, as an authorized leave day for city employees.
Street Committee Authorized the barricading of streets for the annual Veterans Day Parade at 2 p.m. Sunday.
Amended the "Parking Prohibited at all Times on Certain Streets Schedule" -- Schedule IX by adding no parking designations on West Park Street and Greenway Drive.
Approved the rezoning of the property addressed as 311 N. High St. from R-3 (general residential) District to C-2 (general commercial).
Rejected the rezoning of 19.1 acres of property situated in the southwest quadrant of the West Independence Street and Broadridge Drive intersection from R-2 (single-family residential) and R-2 (single-family residential) District and R-3 (general residential) District to C-1 (local commercial) District.
Approved the rezoning of the properties addressed as 4849 and 4913 Old Cape Road East from C-2 (general commercial) District to R-2 (single-family residential) District.
Proposed an ordinance amending Chapter 45, Article IX, Division 1 of the Code of Ordinances relating to public health, safety and welfare offenses.
