* Set a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 18 to consider the rezoning of about two acres of property at 243 County Road 318 from R-2 district to C-2 district, as submitted by Gregory Abbott.
* Approved task order authorization No. 06-15 to Koehler Engineering and Land Surveying Inc. of Cape Girardeau in the amount of $6,380 for the South Old Orchard Road corridor study.
* Waived clean-up fees in the amount of $2,025 to the American Legion Post 158 regarding the 2006 annual Homecomers Celebration.
* Approved a cost participation agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission for the construction of a storm water junction box along the West Jackson Boulevard four-lane parkway improvement project, phase two.
* Authorized amendment 1 to a contractual agreement with Smith and Co. Engineers of Poplar Bluff, Mo., for the East Main Street Extension project.
