Jackson Board of Aldermen action 3/2/04

Approved an ordinance amending the 2004 budget.

Approved an ordinance accepting the dedication of an electric line easement deed from Gladys Siebert.

Approved an ordinance accepting the dedication of a tree trimming easement deed from the Kenneth and Mary Wagner Trust.

Accepted the bid and authorized a contractual agreement of Drury Company of Cape Girardeau in the amount of $29,500, relative to the water treatment plant roof removal and replacement project.

Accepted the bid and authorized a contractual agreement with Townsend Tree Service, Inc., of Parker City, Ind., in the amount of $79,500, relative to the 2004 electric distribution tree trimming program.

Set a public hearing for Monday, April 5 to consider the rezoning of 1730 and 1802 East Jackson Blvd from R-2 (single family residential) to C-2 (general commercial, as submitted by Charles and Carol Draper, Robert and Jacqueline Strack and Patrick N. Dean.

Approved the preliminary plat of Parkview Terrace Subdivision, Phase 2, as submitted by Diamond K Development, L.L.C.

Approved an ordinance amending Chapter 65 of the Code of Ordinances, relative to certain zoning amendments.

Accepted the minor plat of Jackson Boulevard Subdivision, as submitted by The Arnold Living Trust.
