  • Held a hearing to consider rezoning 36.09 acres along Hillcrest Drive from R-1 (single-family residential) to R-2 (single-family residential), as submitted by P.B. Properties, LLC.

* Held a hearing to consider rezoning property at 2080 E. Main St. from R-4 (general residential) to C-2 (general commercial), as submitted by Gerald and Mary Huskey.

* Held a hearing to consider rezoning certain properties along West Jackson Boulevard, in regard to the West Jackson Boulevard Comprehensive Rezoning Project, Phase 3, as submitted by the city of Jackson.

* Held a hearing to consider amending Chapter 41 of the code of ordinances, regarding utilities.

* Accepted the dedication of a drainage easement deed from Missouri Lakes LLC.

* Accepted the dedication of a sanitary sewer easement deed from Donald and Patsy Pulliam, regarding the Williams Creek (west) Interceptor Sewer Project, Reach B.

* Accepted the dedication of a storm water detention basin and access easement deed from Kirk and Elizabeth Barton and E. Al Barton and Vicki Barton.

* Set a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. March 20 to consider rezoning approximately 0.45 acres at 2950 Old Toll Road from R-2 (single-family residential) to C-2 (general commercial), and 1.74 acres at 2950 Old Toll Road, from C-2 (general commercial) to I-1 (light industrial), as submitted by Chug and Julie Crites.

* Approving the closure of North Maryland Street between Kate Street and Florence Street, and Kate Street between North Georgia Street and North Maryland Street from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. July 4, and authorized the use of loudspeakers for a neighborhood block party, as requested by Brian Horrell.

* Passed a resolution accepting the voluntary annexation petition for 9.87 acres (to be known as East Ridge Place Subdivision) and setting a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. March 20, as submitted by P.B. Properties LLC.

* Passed an ordinance amending the "crosswalks designated schedule" by adding crosswalk designations on Walton Drive and Wal-Mart Supercenter's eastern entrance.

* Approved the voluntary annexation of 4.27 acres known as a portion of the South Farmington Road right of way and owned by the Missouri Department of Transportation.

* Approved the rezoning of certain properties along West Jackson Boulevard, regarding the West Jackson Boulevard Comprehensive Rezoning Project, Phase 3, as submitted by the city of Jackson.

* Approved the rezoning of 36.09 acres of property along Hillcrest Drive, from R-1 (single-family residential) to R-2 (single-family residential), as submitted by P.B. Properties LLC.

* Approved the rezoning of the property addressed as 2080 E. Main St. from R-4 (general residential) to C-2 (general commercial), as submitted by Gerald and Mary Huskey.

Amendment

* Authorized the mayor to sign a depository agreement with First Missouri State Bank.
