Approved Nov. 28 as an authorized leave day for city employees.

Approved change order No. 3 to Robinson Mechanical Contractors Inc. to increase the contract amount by $38,899.55, regarding the water supply well No. 7 project.

Approved change order No. 4 to Robinson Mechanical Contractors Inc. to increase the contract amount by $19,744.00, regarding the water supply well No. 7 project.

Approved authorization No. 20-A, with Horner & Shifrin Inc., in the amount of $8,600, regarding the water supply well No. 7 project.

Approved an ordinance calling for a general municipal election on April 6, 2004, to fill the offices of board of aldermen of the city of Jackson.

Approved the bid of Power Line Consultants, L.L.C., of Farmington, Mo., in the amount of $29,950, relative to electric distribution upgrades under the Jackson Industrial Park electric line extension project.

Authorized a contractual agreement with Power Line Consultants, L.L.C., regarding the electric distribution upgrades under the Jackson Industrial Park electric line extension project.

Authorized the closure of streets for the annual Christmas parade at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 13.

Set a public hearing for Dec. 1 to consider amendments to Chapter 65 of the Code of Ordinances.

Accepted the bid of G&C Contracting Inc., of Perryville in the amount of $148,738, regarding the Route D hiking and biking trail project.

Tabled a bill proposing an ordinance amending the "stop street schedule" by the addition and deletion of certain stop signs on Olive Street and Forest Street.

Authorized a contractual agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, regarding the approval of a master reimbursable utility agreement.
