* Approved task order authorization No. 05-19, in the amount of $134,600 to Horner and Shifrin Inc., of St. Louis regarding providing engineering services under the north elevated water storage tank project.

* Approved task order authorization No. 05-23, in the amount of $88,400 to Horner and Shifrin Inc., regarding providing engineering services under Phases III through VI of an interim water plant improvements and 20-year facility plan development for water supply and treatment.

* Approved task order authorization No. 05-20, in the amount of $17,500 to Allen and Hoshall of Memphis, Tenn., regarding providing engineering services under the 34.5 kV transmission line (east Main Street extension from Oak Hill Road to Interstate 55) project.

* Approved task order authorization No. 05-21, in the amount of $38,400 to Allen and Hoshall regarding providing engineering services under the 34.5 kV transmission Line (Interstate 55 extension from Bainbridge Road to East Main Street) project.

* Approved Change Order No. 5, to B.W. Birk and Associates Inc. of Jackson, for an $840 decrease to the contract amount, regarding the water treatment plant No. 1 high service pumps replacement project.

* Passed a bill proposing an ordinance authorizing the execution of the sixth amendment to landfill redesign and operation agreement, with Allied Services LLC. regarding gate rates at the Jackson transfer station.

* Passed a bill proposing an ordinance amending chapter 41 of the code of ordinances, regarding municipal utilities/water and sewerage.

* Passed a bill proposing an ordinance amending chapter 57 of the code of ordinances, regarding subdivisions and minimum improvements required for water distribution systems.

Street Committee

* Approved an annexation agreement with A and T Development, LLC.

* Approved the minor plat of Haertlings Townhomes Number One, as submitted by Bradley J. Haertling, PC, and Wayne and Beverly Boehme.

* Approved the minor plat of Willow Bend subdivision resubdivision for Lot No. 8, as submitted by the Billy F. McGuire Jr. Revocable Trust.

* Approved the minor plat of Twisted Oaks subdivision, as submitted by Wayne and Carole Pfeiffer, and Randy and Cheryl Seabaugh.

* Approved the voluntary annexation of 76.20 acres of property along Zschille Road, as submitted by Carolyn Little (known as the future Cold Creek Estates and Brookside Estates subdivisions.)

* Approved the voluntary annexation of 2.14 acres of property along Zschille Road, as submitted by JoBeth Little.

* Approved the voluntary annexation of 0.98 acres of property along Old Toll Road, as submitted by Chug and Julie Crites.

* Passed a bill proposing an ordinance amending the "parking prohibited at all times on certain streets schedule - schedule IX," by adding parking prohibited designations on North Hope Street.
