Power & Light Committee

Authorize contractual agreement with Coast to Coast Signs for construction~ of "Welcome to Jackson" sign.

Accept $10,391 bid from Ditch Witch Sales Inc. of Sullivan for backhoe for trencher.

Approve fees relating to ballfield rental.

Authorize specific individuals to effect security and investment transactions for the city.

Authorize the purchase of two Vibratory Rammer dirt compactors from Roland Machinery Co. at a cost of $1,882.35 each.

Accept certified election results.

Award annual contract for purchase of carbon dioxide to Oz-Arc Gas Equipment & Supply at a cost of $125 per ton.

Approve amended swimming pool regulations for 1995.

Street Committee

Approve final plat of Ridge Subdivision III.

Approve contractual agreement with Missouri Highway and Transportation Department for the installation of roadside flashing lights at Jackson Middle School.

Award bid for backhoe for Street Department of Fabick Bros. Equipment Co. in the amount of $51,207.

Provide for the improvement of Gloria Street.

Provide for the improvement of Ridge Road.

Appoint the Rev. Don Covington, associate pastor of New McKendree United Methodist Church, as police chaplain.

Establish new commercial solid waste pickup fee schedule.

Set a public hearing at 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 15, to consider rezoning lots 5-10 of Linus Sanford's 1st Addition from C-2 to R-3 as requested by the city of Jackson.
