Approved motion to appoint Steve Wilson to serve as city representative on the Board of Directors of the Cape Girardeau Area Industrial Recruitment Association for a one-year term beginning Jan. 1.

Approved motion to set a public hearing for Monday, Dec. 16, at 7:30 p.m. to consider the 1997 Tentative Budget.

Approved motion to appoint Carl Talley to the Cape Girardeau County Soil and Water Conservation Hubble Creek Area Planning Committee.

Approved Change Order No. 1 in the amount of $4,393.60 and authorizing total payment of $32,893.60 to Bootheel Excavating Inc. of Jackson under the Buried Electric for Grandview Acres Lift Station Contract.

Approved motion to authorize payment of Jackson Missouri Electric System Refunding Revenue Bonds, Series 1991, due Jan. 1 of $200,000 principal and $41,113.77 interest.

Approved ordinance to rezone a portion of property along North High Street from R-2 (single-family residential) to C-2 (general commercial) as submitted by John Crites.

Approved ordinance to resubdivide Lots 8 and 9 of Green Meadows Subdivision and Lot 21 of Oakhill Subdivision as submitted by John Lichtenegger of Appleton Valley Farm Inc.

Approved ordinance to resubdivide Lots 29 and 30 of Green Meadows Subdivision as submitted by John Lichtenegger of Appleton Valley Farm Inc.

Tabled motion to set a public hearing for Jan. 6 to consider the rezoning of property owned by Appleton Valley Farm Inc. from R-2 (single-family residential), R-3 (general residential) and C-2 (general commercial) to R-1 (single-family residential) as submitted by John Lichtenegger.
