-- Hearing held to consider the rezoning of Lots 1 through 30 and Lots 38 through 96 on the preliminary plat of Rosewood Estates Third Subdivision from R-1 to R-2 as submitted by Gerald Stoverink.

-- Hearing heldto consider the rezoning of Lots 31 through 37 on the preliminary plat of Rosewood Estates Third Subdivision from C-2 to R-2 as submitted by Gerald Stoverink.

Action Items

Power and Light Committee

-- Authorized semi-annual payment to Chamber of Commerce for serices rendered under existing tourism contract and extending contract for additional year.

-- Authorized expenditure of $2,979 reference security modifications to the Jackson Public Library.

-- Approved ordinance accepting dedication of right-of-way and general utility easement from Craftsman Independent Union Health, Welfare and Hospitalization Fund.

-- Approved application under the Local Landmark Parks Program of the Missouri Department of Natural Resources for grant funding for improveme3nts to American Legion ballfield.

Street Committee

-- Set a public hearing for Monday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. to consider rezoning Lots 100 through 105 on the preliminary plat of Rosewood Estates Third Subdivision from R-1 and R-2 to C-2 as submitted by Gerald Stoverink.

-- Set a public hearing for Monday, Oct. 7 at 7:30 p.m. to consider the request for a special use permit at 710 Highland Drive for a home occupation as submitted by Wayne Godwin.

-- Approved final plat of Cantaberry Estates Second Subdivision.

-- Approved final plat of Cantaberry Estates Third Subdivision.

-- Set Fall Cleanup/Fix Up Week for Oct. 7-11.

-- Accepted Hidden Meadows Drive in Hidden Meadows Subdivision as a public street and also accept the water and sewer systems serving those lots in Hidden Meadows Subdivision.

-- Amended Section 21-1000 relating to loitering.

-- Approved ordinance for the Improvement of Olive, Forest and Independence Streets.

-- Authorized closure of Cathy Drive between Carolyn and Hillcrest on Sept. 15 between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. for a block party.
