-- Authorizing payment of $4,000 to the Jackson Chamber of Commerce's Small Business Recruitment Program.

Street Committee

To consider:

-- Setting 7:30 p.m., Aug. 18 public hearing on the 1997 tax rate.

-- Proposing ordinance to contract the Missouri Department of Transportation to participate in the department's transportation enhancement funds program.

-- Proposing ordinance to approve Victorian Plaza Subdivision No. 2 plat.

-- Setting 7:30 p.m., Aug. 18 public hearing to rezone 1701 S. Hope St. from R-1 (single family residential) and R-2 (single family residential) to R-3 (general residential) as submitted by Dr. Howard Jones of the Jackson R-2 School District.
