Action Items:

-- Passed motion authorizing payment of Jackson Combined Waterworks and Sewerage Series 1988 bonds of $30,000 principal and $19,775 interest, total $49,775, due April 1, 1997.

-- Passed resolution accepting petition for voluntary annexation from Earl Norman and Bobby Barks and setting a public hearing for Monday, April 7, 1997, at 7:30 p.m.

-- Passed motion accepting low bid of Donze Construction Inc. in the amount of $11,850 under the 34.5-KV substation foundation contract.

-- Passed ordinance authorizing contractual agreement with Donze Construction Inc. for the construction of the 34.5-KV substation foundation.

-- Passedx ordinance approving the rezoning of Lots 67, 78, 79, 91, 103 and part of Lot 66 of the Original Town of Jackson, from R-3 (general residential) to C-3 (central business) as submitted by John Palisch, trustee for the St. Paul Lutheran Church.

-- Passed motion to set a public hearing for Monday, April 7, 1997, at 7:30 p.m. to consider the rezoning of Lot 2 of Sappington Court Subdivision from R-3 (general residential) to C-2 (general commercial) as submitted by Don Sappington.

-- Passed motion to accept those portions of Aaron Drive in Cantaberry Estates Second Subdivision as a public street and also accept the water and sewer system serving those lots along the street.

-- Passed motion to accept those portions of Aspen Drive in Cantaberry Estates Third Subdivision as a public street and accept the water and sewer system serving those lots along the street.

-- Passed motion to accept those portions of West Lane, Alpine Street, Berkley Drive, Bristol Drive and Aspen Drive in Fairfield Estates Subdivision, Phase One as public streets and also accept the water and sewer systems serving those lots along these streets.

-- Passed motion accepting low bid of Penzel Construction Co. Inc. in the amount of $6,628.36 under the Recycling Center Office Construction/Building Repair Contract.

-- Passed ordinance authorizing contractual agreement with Penzel Construction Co. Inc. for the construction and repair of the Recycling Center Office.
