-- Authorized design and advertisement for bids for bulk lime storage facility at the Municipal Water Plant.
-- Approved a contractual agreement with the Cape Girardeau Area Industrial Recruitment Association relative to services provided in administering the promotion of the East/West Highway Project linking Paducah, Ky., and Van Buren.

Street Committee

-- Set a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 4 to consider the rezoning of all the property addressed as 1517 West Jackson Boulevard from R-2 (single family residential) to C-2 (general commercial) as submitted by Mr. and Mrs. David Miller.
-- Set a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. Monday, May 4 to consider the rezoning of all the property addressed as 2812 Hilltop Drive and a 3.9-acre tract of land lying to the south of Hilltop Drive from R-2 to C-2.
