Power and Light Committee
* Authorized the issuance of $4 million principal amount of Electric System Revenue Bonds, Series 2000, of the City of Jackson.
* Accepted the bid of Clark Corp. of Helena, Ala., in the amount of $109,859 for substation structure and equipment under the West Substation Upgrade Project.
* Authorized a contractual agreement with Clark Corp. relative to substation structure and miscellaneous equipment purchases and installation under the West Substation Upgrade Project.
* Accepted a general Warranty Deed form Byron Lang, trustee of the Byron and Margaret Lang Trust of Feb. 18, 1991, and trustee of the Family Trust of the Byron L. Lang and Margaret E. Lang Trust of Feb. 18, 1991, for Lot 1 of the Jackson Trail Industrial Park Subdivision.
Street Committee
* Rejected the rezoning of all the property addressed as 1600 N. High St. from R-2 (single-family residential) to C-2 (general commercial) as submitted by Ronald Clark and Bobby Clark.
* Approved the preliminary plat of Cambridge Estates Subdivision as submitted by Robert Weber and Ronald Hecht.
* Amended the Stop Street Schedule -- Schedule VI by adding stop street designations on Farmington Road.
* Amended the Stop Street Schedule -- Schedule VI by adding certain stop street designations.
* Amended the Parking Prohibited at all Times on Certain Streets Schedule -- Schedule IX by adding certain new no parking designations and repealing older designations.
* Approved an ordinance vacating Klaus Park Village Subdivision.
* Approved the final plat of Klaus Park Village Subdivision, Phase I, as submitted by James Green of Equity South L.L.C.
* Approved the final plat of Fairway Estates Sixth Subdivision, Second Amended.
* Accepted the bid of Penzel Construction Co. Inc., in the amount of $53,102 under the Pedestrian/Bicycle Bridge Over Hubble Creek Project.
* Approved a contractual agreement with Penzel Construction Co. Inc. relative to the construction of a pedestrian/bicycle bridge over Hubble Creek.
* Approved an ordinance providing for the improvement of South Bast Street.
* Authorized expenditure of $1,000 to fund Community Policing Program.
