The Jackson Board of Aldermen will sponsor public hearings Tuesday night to consider three special-use permits.
The Dorothy M. Siebert Trust and the Harlan A. Siebert Trust have submitted a request for a mobile storage facility at 1011 W. Jackson Blvd.
A permit request from Gustav and Patricia Wischmann is also being considered for an in-home massage business at 915 Priest St.
The Steven L. Horst Revocable Trust and the Carol B. Horst Revocable Trust has requested a permit for an attached, oversized sign at 2705 E. Jackson Blvd. The sign measures 10 feet by 20 feet.
Aldermen will vote on granting the permits following the hearings.

* Consider a motion approving the semiannual financial statement ending Dec. 31.
* Consider a bill proposing an ordinance authorizing a contract with the Missouri Development Finance Board regarding the DREAM Initiative.
* Consider a motion setting a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 7 to consider the abandonment of a public alley right of way in the Horrell-Byrd & Company Addition.
* Consider a motion to set a public hearing for 7:30 p.m. Feb. 22 to consider the rezoning of part of Lots 17, 18, 19 and 20 of the Horrell-Byrd & Company Addition.
* Consider a motion to set a public hearing for Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m. to consider a special use permit request for a community unit plan for multiple apartment buildings, in a C-3 District, on a combined tract containing all of Lots 11, 12 and 13, and part of Lots 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20 of the Horrell-Byrd & Company Addition, as submitted by Kenneth and Michelle Spooler.
* Consider a motion accepting a grant of $90,520 from the Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Homeland Security, regarding an application submitted under the FY2010 assistance to firefighters grant.
* Consider a bill proposing an ordinance authorizing a contract with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, regarding the installation of snow route signs on U.S. 61.
