The city of Jackson is accepting bids for the Bainbridge Road Widening and Culvert Improvement Project until 2 p.m. April 19.
A prebid meeting will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the public works conference room in Jackson City Hall. The project consists of removal of existing concrete culvert and improvements, construction of a replacement structure consisting of a reinforced cast in place single box culvert as well as traffic control, widening and resurfacing of Bainbridge Road and other items specified in city plans. Plans and additional specifications can be reviewed or obtained for $55 per set at the office of the city engineer, Koehler Engineering and Land Surveying Inc., 194 Coker Lane in Jackson.
The notice issued by Rodney Bollinger, public works director, stipulates that bids must be sealed, addressed and designated as "Bainbridge Road Widening & Culvert Improvement Project, Attn: City Administrator."
