JACKSON ABWA EVENT IS THURSDAY

JACKSON -- The Jackson chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA) will hold its annual business associate event Thursday at the Jackson Knights of Columbus Hall.

The event honors the business associates and employers of ABWA members and will recognize one individual as Business Associate of the Year. The social will begin at 6 p.m., dinner at 7, and the program at 7:30.

Walt Wildman, executive director of the Cape Girardeau Area Regional Commerce and Growth Association, will be the guest speaker.

ABWA is one of the nation's largest business training associations for working women, having provided workplace skills and training for more than 535,000 women since its inception in 1949.
