Five Southeast Missouri State University students have received scholarships from the Society of Manufacturing Engineers St. Louis Chapter.

The students will each receive $750: Violet Renee Burns, a senior industrial technology major from Jackson; Jennifer R. Gibbar, a junior industrial technology major from Perryville; Dale J. Goodwin, a senior technology education major from Doe Run; Patricia A. LaForest, a junior industrial technology major from Cape Girardeau; and Michael C. Witt, a senior industrial technology major from Sikeston.

Scholarships are available to full-time students enrolled in manufacturing, engineering, industrial technology or a manufacturing-related field.
