Isle Casino Cape Girardeau general manager Chet Koch was replaced Tuesday with a temporary senior administrator, Barron Fuller.
Details regarding the decision were not revealed. A brief statement was issued Thursday by Jill Alexander, senior director of corporate communications for Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. Koch has been the general manager since the casino opened in October.
"We are pleased with the property that we constructed in Cape Girardeau and are comfortable with revenue trends; we felt it necessary to make some changes to our senior management team in order to strengthen our operating results. Barron Fuller will provide strong guidance and direction for the property on an interim basis while we complete our search for a new general manager," Alexander said in an email.
Fuller is the general manager of the Isle of Capri Casino Hotel in Boonville, Mo.
Missouri Gaming Commission public information coordinator LeAnn McCarthy said no complaints related to Koch's performance have been received.
Visits to the casino were up in March at 123,000, compared to 103,022 in February and 82,723 in January.
