Striping on I-55 began at midnight Tuesday at mile marker 66.2 southbound to mile marker 50. The operation will then move to the northbound lanes at mile marker 50 to mile marker 66.2 and should finish Thursday. Striping on I-57 will be done Friday and Saturday. Workers will begin on the northbound side at mile marker 0 at the I-55-57 intersection and continue to mile marker 6.5. The operation will then move to the southbound side at mile marker 8 and end at the 0 mile marker.
