Scott County sheriff’s deputies are searching from an inmate who escaped from Scott County Jail at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, according to a news release from Scott County Sheriff Rick Walter.
Joshua A. Musgrove, 31, of Chaffee, Missouri, was being held in the Scott County Jail on first-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon charges, the release stated.
He was charged with first-degree assault, felonious restraint and rape in May in Pemiscot County.
Musgrove escaped custody when walking back to Scott County Jail after an appearance at the Scott County courthouse in Benton, Missouri, and should be considered dangerous, the release stated.
