INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT AT SEMO EARNS ACCREDITATION

The industrial technology department at Southeast Missouri State University has received national accreditation.

The National Association of Industrial Technology awarded the accreditation to the department for its five bachelor of science degree programs.

The initial four-year accreditation is for options in electronics technology, industrial management, manufacturing technology, visual communications, and technology is for four years.

The accreditation was the culmination of a five-year department effort that included changes and enhancements in curriculum, equipment and facilities.
