Norman catches a pass just before he made the first of two touchdowns against Cape Central.
The Jackson Indians beat the Cape Central Tigers last Thursday night with the final score of 30-13. Jackson took an early lead and managed to keep it throughout the game.
Jackson fullback Nathan Norman scored the games first touchdown, a 1-yard run during the opening quarter. Nathan Turley made another touchdown before the quarter ended.
After stealing Cape's possession on a fumble, Norman scored on another 1-yard run.
Jackson running back Glen Brunke returned to the lineup after a brief absence with an ankle injury. Brunke made the final touchdown on a 3-yard run early in the fourth quarter.
This was Jackson's first win since beating Borgia. The Indians had lost their two most recent games to Sikeston and Poplar Bluff.
This was Central's first loss in three weeks.
