Independence Street to close for utility work
Independence Street between Gordonville Road and Silver Springs Road will be closed from 6 to 9 a.m. Saturday and Oct. 19, according to a news release from the city of Cape Girardeau. Ameren Missouri will be replacing transformers in the area, intermittently closing the road to traffic.
