Three incumbent school board members in Cape Girardeau and Jackson filed for re-election Tuesday, the first day for filing for school-board candidates in Missouri.
Incumbents Jeff Glenn and Adrian Toole filed as candidates for three-year terms on the Cape Girardeau School Board.
Their seats are the only ones up for election in April.
In the Jackson School District, incumbent Dan Stover filed. Fellow board member Alaina Hinze did not file for re-election Tuesday.
Their seats are the only ones up for election in the Jackson district. No challengers have filed.
The filing deadline is 5 p.m. Jan. 19.
