IN NEW POSITION

CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Richard E. ("Dick") Miller has joined Ford & Sons Funeral Home and Memorial Park Cemetery as a family service coordinator.

The firm announced Miller's appointment this week, saying he would handle "anything pre-need for the company's funeral and cemetery properties."

Miller, a native of Dexter, has been in the Cape Girardeau area since 1973, and previously operated Miller Barber and Beauty Supply.

He was a barber 15 years before starting the barber and beauty supply business, which he sold last year.
