PLEADED GUILTY
Name: Micheal A. Howe
Age: 26
Residence: Old Appleton
Charge: One felony count of being a felon in possession of a firearm
Sentencing: Set for May 10. Howe faces a maximum of 10 years' imprisonment and a $250,000 fine.
Summary: On Sept. 9, Howe was a driver of a vehicle that was stopped in Perry County for a traffic violation and as part of an investigation into stolen firearms. Howe's trunk was searched, and an officer found six firearms. It was determined they were stolen Sept. 7 during a burglary at a Cape Girardeau home.
