The U.S. attorney's office released the following information Tuesday for defendants who appeared before U.S. District Judge Carol E. Jackson.
PLEADED GUILTY
Name: Jerry L. Daniels
Residence: Oran
Charges: Being a previous felon in possession of a firearm.
Summary: On Nov. 29 a report of an argument between Daniels and his wife caused a Stoddard County deputy to respond to the Daniels' residence. Mrs. Daniels gave the deputy a rifle, which she said belonged to Daniels, and said that he two other firearms in their home. Daniels confirmed the allegations, and the deputy then recovered the other two firearms.
