The following information was released Monday by the federal prosecutor's office for defendants appearing before U.S. District Judge Rodney W. Sippel.
PLEADED GUILTY
Name: Christell Lean Myers
Age: 38
Residence: Chaffee, Mo.
Charge: One felony count of conspiracy to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.
Sentencing: Set for Oct. 22. Myers faces a maximum punishment of life imprisonment, and a $4 million fine or both.
Summary: Between Aug. 1, 2009, and Jan. 14, Myers conspired with several others to distribute methamphetamine in Southeast Missouri. Myers helped obtain an apartment where the drugs were stored and also drove members of the organization to meet with drug customers. On at least one occasion, she wired more than $900 in proceeds to individuals in Mexico on behalf of the organization.
